This mailing list will serve as both a source of news and  discussion 
regarding SWAP activities and events, and also as a forum for general 
discussion of all topics related (and tangential) to women and 
minorities, philosophy, graduate school and academia in general.  

In short, it is a way for all the members of SWAP to communicate and keep 
up on all things SWAP-related.  

This mailing list has just been formed (this is the first post!), 
but we hope it will blossom shortly into a bustling and vital addition 
to our organization.

For those of you who have just joined, we encourage you to post messages 
that you think would be of interest to SWAP members.  If you have any 
questions about this mailing list or our organization, don't hesitate to
